Pupiloplasty / Iridodialysis Repair

Pupiloplasty and Iridodialysis Repair are delicate eye surgeries performed to restore the normal shape and function of the iris and pupil. Pupiloplasty involves reconstructing or reshaping the pupil to improve vision quality, reduce glare, and enhance cosmetic appearance, often after trauma, surgery, or congenital defects. Iridodialysis Repair addresses the separation of the iris from its attachment to the ciliary body, which can cause double vision, glare, and cosmetic irregularities. Both procedures are carried out under a microscope using fine sutures, with the aim of improving visual function, reducing symptoms, and restoring the natural appearance of the eye.
