Entropion & Ectropion repair

Entropion and Ectropion Repair are surgical procedures to correct eyelid malpositions that can cause discomfort and eye damage. Entropion is when the eyelid turns inward, causing eyelashes to rub against the eye, leading to irritation, redness, and possible corneal injury. Ectropion is when the eyelid turns outward, exposing the inner eyelid surface and causing dryness, tearing, and irritation. Both conditions are often age-related but can also result from scarring, trauma, or muscle weakness. Surgical repair restores the eyelid to its proper position, protecting the eye surface, improving comfort, and preventing long-term damage.

  • Corrects abnormal eyelid position (inward or outward turning).
  • Relieves irritation, redness, and tearing.
  • Protects the cornea from injury.
  • Restores normal eyelid function and appearance.
  • Performed under local or general anesthesia.
  • Suitable for age-related, traumatic, or scar-related cases.
